Our community loves to come together to

enjoy a celebration!

Twentythree local volunteers cleaned and cleared the hall after the hall was closed during Covid, with much damp and mould growth. All just in time to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022. Newly decorated, the hall was set to celebrate once again for the King’s Coronation in May 2023. As well as local residents, relatives and friends came from all over the county to join the celebrations. An Afternoon Tea was organised in August 2024 to raise funds for Breast Cancer Now. Once again the local community made savouries and home bakes with scones fresh from the oven served with home made preserves and copious cups of tea! With kind help from the community, together with generous donations, £794 was raised for the charity. Our grateful thanks for the generous fund awards received over the last 3 years, the hall is now refurbished throughout and a pleasure for our community activities and get-togethers.
